If only I had a remote camera to check...

So the A/C really wasn't fixed last night, and the Galileo thermometer had the 80 degree bulb floating. I awoke to a pillow so soaked with sweat, I probably could have squeezed out a gallon.

Here I am, wondering if the thing is actually cooling down during the day, and I realize I could have put the Galileo thermometer in front of a catcam and then counted the bulbs.

Brilliant ideas always come quickly once the opportunity to use them has passed.

So instead, I've got this:

Cat in a fluffy white robe, both slight out of focus.

I've got the Dynex marked for "good focus" on the focus ring. Apparently, the focus ring is for making the image go even more out of focus than before.

Wonderful.

Time to call the maintenance folks and ask them to check it. Cats need a little excitement in their day, you know.
